To compare the effect of different surface processes on bond strength and microscopic structure using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and an energy distribution spectrum (EDS) at the bonding interface between zirconia framework and veneering ceramic.
METHODS: WIELAND zirconia core material was cut into 33 rectangular specimens and fired on into rectangular specimens (10 mm×5 mm×5 mm). The specimens were randomly divided into three groups (n= 11). The sandblasting group was sandblasted before firing. The sandblasting and liner coverage group was sandblasted before firing and then sintered with liner coverage after firing. The control group was not processed. All the veneering ceramics (5 mm× 5 mm×5 mm) were fired on into the zirconia substructure by slip-casting technique. One bilayered specimen in each group was prepared for SEM and EDS to examine the bonding conditions. The other specimens were measured for shear force using an electronic universal dynamometer. The data obtained were analyzed by using the statistical software SPSS 17.0.
The values of the shear bond strength test were (13.80±1.54) MPa for the control group, (18.06±0.59) MPa for the sandblasting group, and (21.04±1.23) MPa for the sandblasting and liner coverage group. Significant differences existed among the three groups (P<0.01).
Abrasion before firing significantly increases the shear bond strength of zirconia to veneering porcelain. The use of porcelain combined with liner increases the shear bond strength.
使用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和能谱分析仪(EDS)比较不同表面处理对氧化锆基底与饰面陶瓷结合界面处结合强度和微观结构的影响。
将威兰德氧化锆核材料切割成33个矩形试件,并烧制成长方体试件(10mm×5mm×5mm)。试件随机分为三组(n = 11)。喷砂组在烧制前进行喷砂处理。喷砂加衬层覆盖组在烧制前进行喷砂处理,烧制后再烧结衬层覆盖物。对照组不做处理。所有饰面陶瓷(5mm×5mm×5mm)通过注浆技术烧制在氧化锆亚结构上。每组制备一个双层试件用于SEM和EDS检测结合情况。其他试件使用电子万能测力计测量剪切力。所得数据采用统计软件SPSS 17.0进行分析。
对照组的剪切粘结强度测试值为(13.80±1.54)MPa,喷砂组为(18.06±0.59)MPa,喷砂加衬层覆盖组为(21.04±1.23)MPa。三组之间存在显著差异(P<0.01)。
烧制前的打磨显著提高了氧化锆与饰面瓷的剪切粘结强度。使用带衬层的瓷体可提高剪切粘结强度。
