OBJECTIVE
To evaluate the ELISA kit for detection of IgG antibodies against cysticercus in humans, so as to provide a reference for its application in clinical practice.
METHODS
The sera collected from the patients with neurocysticercosis, echinococcosis, taeniasis and healthy people, respectively, were checked by ELISA for specific IgG antibodies against cysticercus, as described in the instruction of the kit.
RESULTS
Of the 30 patients with neurocysticercosis at active stage, 28 showed seropositive reaction, indicating a sensitivity of 93.33%. There were no positive reactions in the 100 healthy people. Two of the 42 persons with taeniasis were seropositive with an infection rate of 4.76%. Forty-one of the 60 persons with echinococcosis showed positive reactions, suggesting that the cross reaction rate of the kit with echinococcosis was 68.33%.
CONCLUSIONS
The assessed ELISA kit has a reasonably high sensitivity but a poor specificity, and the cross reaction rate with echinococcosis is very high. It is urgent to improve the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnostic kit for detection of cysticercosis in China.
目的
评价检测人体囊尾蚴IgG抗体的酶联免疫吸附测定（ELISA）试剂盒，为其临床应用提供参考。
方法
分别采集神经囊尾蚴病、棘球蚴病、绦虫病患者及健康人的血清，按试剂盒说明书采用ELISA法检测囊尾蚴特异性IgG抗体。
结果
30例活动期神经囊尾蚴病患者中，28例呈血清阳性反应，灵敏度为93.33%。100例健康人无阳性反应。42例绦虫病患者中2例血清阳性，感染率为4.76%。60例棘球蚴病患者中41例呈阳性反应，提示该试剂盒与棘球蚴病的交叉反应率为68.33%。
结论
所评估的ELISA试剂盒灵敏度较高，但特异性较差，与棘球蚴病的交叉反应率很高。在中国，迫切需要提高检测囊尾蚴病诊断试剂盒的灵敏度和特异性。
