A Gram-stain-positive, non-spore-forming, yellow pigmented, non-motile, aerobic, short rod-shaped bacterial strain, designated CAU 1455, was isolated from marine sediment sand. Strain CAU 1455 grew optimally at 30 °C and at pH 7.5 in the presence of 1% (w/v) NaCl. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain CAU 1455 was affiliated to the genus Cellulosimicrobium and was most closely related to Cellulosimicrobium terreum DS-61 (similarity 97.9%). The strain possessed MK-9 (H) as the predominant menaquinone and anteiso-C as the major cellular fatty acids. Peptidoglycan type was A4a (L-Lys-D-Glu2). The DNA G+C content was 74.3 mol% and the level of DNA-DNA relatedness between CAU 1455 and C. terreum DS-61 was 27.8%. Based on phenotypic, chemotaxonomic, and genetic data, strain CAU 1455 represents a novel species of the genus Cellulosimicrobium, for which the name Cellulosimicrobium arenosum sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is CAU 1455 (= KCTC 49039 = NBRC 113062).
从海洋沉积砂中分离出一株革兰氏染色阳性、不形成芽孢、黄色色素沉着、无运动性、需氧的短杆状细菌菌株,命名为CAU 1455。菌株CAU 1455在30℃、pH 7.5以及1%(w/v)NaCl存在的条件下生长最佳。基于16S rRNA基因序列的系统发育分析表明,菌株CAU 1455隶属于纤维微菌属,与陆地纤维微菌DS-61关系最为密切(相似度为97.9%)。该菌株以MK-9(H)作为主要甲基萘醌,anteiso-C作为主要细胞脂肪酸。肽聚糖类型为A4a(L-Lys-D-Glu2)。DNA G+C含量为74.3 mol%,CAU 1455与陆地纤维微菌DS-61之间的DNA-DNA相关性水平为27.8%。基于表型、化学分类和遗传数据,菌株CAU 1455代表纤维微菌属的一个新物种,为此提出名为沙地纤维微菌(Cellulosimicrobium arenosum sp. nov.)。模式菌株为CAU 1455(=KCTC 49039=NBRC 113062)。
