Abstract
sp. strain AAB1 is an extremely desiccation-tolerant cyanobacterium isolated from translucent quartz stones from the Atacama Desert (Chile). Here, we report its draft genome sequence, which consists of 137 contigs with an ∼5.4-Mb genome size. The annotation revealed 5,641 coding DNA sequences, 38 tRNA genes, and 5 rRNA genes.

菌株AAB1是一种从智利阿塔卡马沙漠的半透明石英石中分离出的极具耐旱性的蓝细菌。在此，我们报告其基因组草图序列，该序列由137个重叠群组成，基因组大小约为5.4 Mb。注释显示有5641个编码DNA序列、38个tRNA基因和5个rRNA基因。
