Necrotising Sialometaplasia is a benign self limiting reactive condition of major and minor salivary glands, which can arouse suspicion for malignancy, clinically and histopathologically. Here, we report a case of 38-year-old female with a painful ulcer on the palate. The case enlightens the importance of clinicopathologic correlation and diligent follow up in diagnosis and management of the case.
坏死性涎腺化生是一种主要和小涎腺的良性自限性反应性病变，在临床和组织病理学上可能引发对恶性肿瘤的怀疑。在此，我们报告一例38岁女性，其腭部有疼痛性溃疡。该病例凸显了临床病理相关性以及在该病例的诊断和管理中进行密切随访的重要性。
