Abstract

Data on the frequency of and mutations in fluoroquinolone-resistant isolates of the complex (MAC) and the complex (MABC) are limited. In our analysis, we did not find any resistance-associated mutations in or in 105 MAC or MABC clinical isolates, including 72 moxifloxacin-resistant isolates. Our findings suggest that mechanisms other than and mutations contribute to moxifloxacin resistance in these organisms.
