Abstract

The present study was conducted to evaluate the supplementation of three autochthonous Bacillus strains (B. subtilis, B. amyloliquefaciens and B. cereus) and a commercial B. amyloliquefaciensin doses of 1 × 10 CFU/kg on the growth performance, hematology, antioxidant activities, digestive enzyme levels, immune status and disease resistance of Clarias gariepinus. A total of 300 fish (75.23 ± 1.6 g) were randomly divided into 5 groups (each group was subdivided into 2 subgroups, 30 fish/each). The control group was fed basal diet (D). Diets D, D, D and Dwere supplemented with B. subtilis, B. amyloliquefaciens, B. cereus and a commercial B. amyloliquefaciens, respectively. During the course of the experiment, D showed the best body weight, weight gain, specific growth rate and food conversion ratio. The measured hemogram blood parameters had the highest significant increase in D WBCs and monocyte counts had no significant differences among the experimental groups. The serum antioxidant and digestive enzymes were the highest in D and were the lowest in D. After 15 d, the non-specific immune parameters were markedly increased in fish fed probiotic-containing diet compared with the control. After 30 d, the highest significant immune parameters were observed in D; D and D had no significant differences in serum lysozyme activity, nitric oxide and IgM compared with D. Myostatin cDNA levels were adversely affected by probiotic supplements compare with the control. The PACAP expression showed the highest significant value in D followed by Dand Dthen D. The relative survival percentages of the Aeromonas sobria challenged C. gariepinus were the highest in D, D, D and then D. Among the three isolated Bacillus species, dietary supplementation with the B. cereus had the highest performance in C. gariepinus compared with the commercial B. amyloliquefaciens and the control group.

本研究旨在评估三种本土芽孢杆菌(枯草芽孢杆菌、解淀粉芽孢杆菌和蜡样芽孢杆菌)和一种商业解淀粉芽孢杆菌(添加剂量为 1×10 CFU/kg)对奥利亚罗非鱼生长性能、血液学、抗氧化活性、消化酶水平、免疫状态和抗病力的影响。将 300 条鱼(75.23±1.6g)随机分为 5 组(每组再分为 2 个亚组,每个亚组 30 条鱼)。对照组投喂基础日粮(D 组)。D、D、D 和 D 组分别在基础日粮中添加枯草芽孢杆菌、解淀粉芽孢杆菌、蜡样芽孢杆菌和商业解淀粉芽孢杆菌。在试验过程中,D 组的体重、增重、特定生长率和饲料转化率最好。D 组的血常规血液参数有显著升高,白细胞和单核细胞计数在各组间无显著差异。D 组的血清抗氧化和消化酶活性最高,D 组的最低。15d 后,与对照组相比,投喂含益生菌日粮的鱼的非特异性免疫参数显著增加。30d 后,D 组的免疫参数最高;D 组和 D 组的血清溶菌酶活性、一氧化氮和 IgM 与 D 组无显著差异。与对照组相比,益生菌补充剂对肌肉生长抑制素 cDNA 水平有不利影响。D 组的 PACAP 表达值最高,其次是 D 组和 D 组,然后是 D 组。Aeromonas sobria 攻毒后,D、D、D 和 D 组的奥利亚罗非鱼相对存活率最高。在三种分离的芽孢杆菌中,与商业解淀粉芽孢杆菌和对照组相比,蜡样芽孢杆菌对奥利亚罗非鱼的生长性能最好。
