Abstract

The objective of the present study was to examine the effects of different muscle contraction interventions using isokinetic dynamometers on the muscle recovery after muscle injury caused by eccentric exercise. A total of 28 healthy male adults participated in the present study and each subject was randomly assigned to eccentric muscle contraction (EC, n=7), concentric muscle contraction (CC, n=7), both eccentric and concentric muscle contraction (BEC, n=7), and control (CON, n=7) groups after performing eccentric exercise. In all groups, except the control group, a different type of muscle contraction intervention was applied repeatedly for 24-96 hr after eccentric exercise, and maximum strength, muscle soreness, and creatine kinase (CK) levels were measured. The results showed a significant association between time and group, with respect to maximum strength (<0.05), muscle soreness (<0.001), and CK (<0.001) after eccentric exercise. Moreover, BEC group showed faster muscle recovery than other groups. In conclusion, implementing active strategies such as performing BEC using an isokinetic dynamometer after eccentric exercise may be effective in facilitating muscle recovery.

本研究的目的是探讨使用等速测力计进行不同肌肉收缩干预对离心运动所致肌肉损伤后肌肉恢复的影响。共有28名健康成年男性参与本研究,在进行离心运动后,每个受试者被随机分配到离心肌肉收缩组(EC,n = 7)、向心肌肉收缩组(CC,n = 7)、离心和向心肌肉收缩组(BEC,n = 7)以及对照组(CON,n = 7)。在所有组中,除了对照组,在离心运动后24 - 96小时重复进行不同类型的肌肉收缩干预,并测量最大力量、肌肉酸痛和肌酸激酶(CK)水平。结果显示,在离心运动后的最大力量(<0.05)、肌肉酸痛(<0.001)和CK(<0.001)方面,时间和组间存在显著关联。此外,BEC组的肌肉恢复速度比其他组更快。总之,在离心运动后采用主动策略,如使用等速测力计进行BEC,可能对促进肌肉恢复有效。
