A series of 4-chloroisocoumarins were conveniently synthesized from o-alkynylbenzoates via PhICl-mediated intramolecular cyclization under metal-free conditions. PhICl plays the role of both the oxidant and the chlorine source to enable oxidative C-O bond formation and introduction of the chlorine atom. The utility and practicability of this protocol have been exemplified by virtue of mild reaction conditions, high-yielding products, simplified purification, and gram-scale synthesis.
通过邻炔基苯甲酸酯在无金属条件下经PhICl介导的分子内环化反应,方便地合成了一系列4-氯异香豆素。PhICl兼具氧化剂和氯源的作用,能够实现氧化C-O键的形成并引入氯原子。该方法的实用性和可行性体现在反应条件温和、产物收率高、纯化简便以及能进行克级规模合成。
