Abstract

Two new Krebs-type tungstoantimonates (Hen)H{[Sb(WO)(B-β-SbWO)][(WO)(WO)(B-β-SbWO)]}·22HO () and (Hen)[(WO)(WO)(B-β-SbWO)]·12HO () were synthesized and characterized. Notably, crystal possesses a specific pseudo-seesaw SbO subunit in the central metal belt of [Sb(WO)(B-β-SbWO)] species, which is rare in reported Krebs-type polyoxometalates. One of the structural features is that there are two kinds of Krebs-type polyanionic clusters in crystal labeled as {(WO)(WO)(B-β-SbWO)} (part ) and {Sb(WO)(B-β-SbWO)} (part ), respectively. The subunits and are alternately connected through Sb-O-W bonds into a chain-like structure of inorganic clusters. Moreover, the catalytic property of crystals and for electron-transfer reaction were investigated by transferring K[Fe(CN)] into K[Fe(CN)].
