The podcast project Evidenz-Geschichte(n) uses storytelling as a method to communicate principles and methods of evidence-based medicine in an attractive way. Both podcasts and storytelling have become quite popular for science communication in general. However, they bring both chances and risks that need to be considered thoroughly. Ideally, communication concepts using storytelling and/or podcasts should be evaluated in their specific contexts.
