This descriptive study aimed to identify and compare patient with myocardial infarction, their family member, and cardiac nurse perceptions on the learning needs of patients with myocardial infarction in the acute, sub-acute, and post-acute phases.
A total of 288 patients with myocardial infarction, 145 family members, and 40 cardiac unit nurses were enrolled in this study. Data were collected by survey method using the Cardiac Patient Learning Need Inventory (CPLNI). Data analysis was done using descriptive statistical analysis and analysis of variance.
The results showed that the learning needs of patients with myocardial infarction were high according to the perceptions of patients, patients' family members, and nurses. There were differences in the priority of learning that the patient need in relation to the disease and healing process.
Patients, family members, and nurses have different perceptions regarding the learning needs of patients with myocardial infarction. To create adequate intervention to meet patient's learning needs, there should be an accurate assessment. The results of this study support the importance of patient-centered, individualized education and attention to learning priorities.
本描述性研究旨在识别和比较心肌梗死患者、其家庭成员以及心脏科护士对心肌梗死患者在急性期、亚急性期和急性后期学习需求的看法。
本研究共纳入288例心肌梗死患者、145名家庭成员和40名心脏科护士。采用心脏患者学习需求量表(CPLNI)通过调查法收集数据。数据分析采用描述性统计分析和方差分析。
结果显示,根据患者、患者家庭成员和护士的看法,心肌梗死患者的学习需求较高。患者在疾病和康复过程方面所需学习的优先级存在差异。
患者、家庭成员和护士对心肌梗死患者的学习需求有不同的看法。为了制定适当的干预措施以满足患者的学习需求,应进行准确的评估。本研究结果支持以患者为中心、个性化教育以及关注学习优先级的重要性。
