A rare case of high-grade surface osteosarcoma of the left ilium is reported. Trephine biopsy performed on a 31-year-old woman suffering from a huge tumor of the left buttock revealed high-grade osteosarcoma, and hemipelvectomy was undertaken. The surgical specimen showed that the tumor was present on the surface of the left ilium. Ten months after the operation, the patient died of brain metastasis. From these results, we considered this case to be one of high-grade surface osteosarcoma.
报告了一例罕见的左髂骨高级别骨表面骨肉瘤病例。对一名患有左臀部巨大肿瘤的31岁女性进行了环钻活检，结果显示为高级别骨肉瘤，遂进行了半骨盆切除术。手术标本显示肿瘤位于左髂骨表面。术后十个月，患者死于脑转移。基于这些结果，我们认为该病例属于高级别骨表面骨肉瘤。
