Through recreational activities of a body-expression group on an out-patient basis with a group of teenage psychotics, an attempt to elaborate the therapeutic effects, using the body, including certain dance techniques under defined and described conditions, is suggested. Where, at the outset, seems not to have been respected sexually, or on the other hand, to have been put into highly conflict--causing situations, when childhood has been marked by great bodily traumatism, when communication can no longer be carried out by words, this kind of physical approach can, by going beyond the psychotic defense mechanism, lead to a genuine narcissistic respect with all its positive effects concerning self-concept and in helping the person relate to others.
