Authors describe a malignant giant cell soft tissue tumour in a 14-year old boy. Although its superficial localization seemed to suggest a relatively favourable prognosis the tumour gave early lymph node metastases. Both the immunohistochemical and electron microscopical studies rendered evidence for its histiocytic origin.
