Pharmacokinetics of paracetamol was investigated in patients with operable stomach cancer, after administration of a single dose of the drug. The course of changes in the paracetamol level in the serum was described by a two-compartment open model for extravascular administration. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using an Odra-1305 computer under George-3 operation system. The area under the curve of concentration changes in patients with stomach cancer was smaller by 47%, and the maximum concentration--by 60%. The distribution volume and the total clearance were increased in these patients. The results suggest that the doses of paracetamol in the patients with stomach cancer should be increased to obtain the required therapeutic effect.
