Abstract

Since the advent of intraocular lenses (IOL), the accuracy of IOL measurements has been paid much attention. With the continuous development of eye biometric equipment and the diversification of IOL power calculation formulas, the precision of IOL power calculation has increased, the function of IOL has improved, and refractive cataract surgery has become popular. However, there is an excessive pursuit of the emmetropization of postoperative refraction after cataract surgery in order to demonstrate the accuracy of IOL measurements, and postoperative emmetropization may cause visual discomfort in some patients with preoperative myopia. This phenomenon is worthy of concern. -.
