Jin Gui Yu Han Jing(, ) and (, ) have similar contents but different names, and they were handed down after being collated by the Medical Records Bureau in 1066, the third year of the Northern Song Dynasty. At present, is Chen Shijie's edition in the Qing Dynasty. Chen Shijie got the manuscript of Song Dynasty from He Zhuo, a scholar of Qing Dynasty, then corrected it, and published it in 1717. By searching the citations from in medical works from 1066 to 1717, and dividing them into two categories: direct quotation and indirect quotation, so as to investigate the spreading situation of since Song Dynasty. According to this, it can be inferred that had not been found by doctors in Yuan and Ming Dynasties.
《金匮玉函经》与《金匮要略》内容相似但名称不同，它们于北宋崇宁五年（1066年）经医书局校勘后流传下来。目前，《金匮玉函经》是清代陈世杰的版本。陈世杰从清代学者何焯处得到宋本，然后进行校勘，并于1717年刊行。通过检索1066年至1717年间医学著作中对《金匮玉函经》的引用情况，并将其分为直接引用和间接引用两类，以考察《金匮玉函经》自宋代以来的流传情况。据此可以推断，元明时期的医生未发现《金匮玉函经》。
