[Methods of treating the Itsenko-Cushing hypothalamo-hypophyseal syndrome].

Studies of a group of patients with the Icenko-Cushing syndrome during the period of 6 months to 6 years permitted to establish that the treatment of the disease, irrespective of the etiology, is most effective when using preparations of gamma-amino-butyric acid, vegetotropic preparations and antidepressive drugs in combination with electrosleep. The adovementioned treatment methods permit to significantly and steadily improve the condition of the patients and preserve, in most of the cases, their working capacity.
