Abstract
The draft genome sequence of GIHE-NHR1, a filamentous cyanobacterium, is reported here. Comparative genome analysis suggests that this strain can produce an odor-causing compound (2-methylisoborneol) in water. The genome information is expected to improve the understanding of the putative 2-methylisoborneol production by the bacterium.

本文报道了丝状蓝细菌GIHE-NHR1的基因组序列草图。比较基因组分析表明，该菌株可在水中产生一种致臭化合物（2-甲基异冰片）。基因组信息有望增进对该细菌产生2-甲基异冰片的推测的理解。
