Epidermal nevi are linear hamartomas of epidermal structures that usually appear at birth or during infancy. Patients with the epidermal nevus syndrome have epidermal nevi with abnormalities of the central nervous system, eyes, and bones, and other cutaneous alterations.

表皮痣是表皮结构的线性错构瘤，通常在出生时或婴儿期出现。患有表皮痣综合征的患者有表皮痣，并伴有中枢神经系统、眼睛和骨骼异常以及其他皮肤改变。
