In the present study, trypsin and chymotrypsin inhibitory activity of some plants of different families was evaluated. A total of 55 plants were screened, out of which six showed the maximum trypsin inhibitory activity namely and . Results suggested that the plants showing trypsin inhibitory activity (TIA) also have chymotrypsin inhibitory activity (CIA). Both trypsin and chymotrypsin inhibitory activities were high in seeds compared to leaves followed by flowers. It was also observed that TIA was maximally present in Sapindaceae family whereas CIA was maximum in fabaceae family followed by others.
在本研究中,对不同科的一些植物的胰蛋白酶和糜蛋白酶抑制活性进行了评估。共筛选了55种植物,其中6种表现出最大的胰蛋白酶抑制活性,即 和 。结果表明,表现出胰蛋白酶抑制活性(TIA)的植物也具有糜蛋白酶抑制活性(CIA)。与叶子相比,种子中的胰蛋白酶和糜蛋白酶抑制活性较高,其次是花朵。还观察到,无患子科植物中TIA含量最高,而豆科植物中CIA含量最高,其次是其他科。
