Abstract

The marine ecosystem is a growing reservoir of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, and thus an emerging risk to human health. In this study, we report the first draft genome sequence of multidrug-resistant strain OS1T-47, isolated from an offshore site in the Red Sea. The draft genome of OS1T-47 is 5 157 150 bp in length and has DNA G + C content of 44.83%. Strain OS1T-47 possesses 22 antimicrobial resistance genes, including those associated with multidrug-resistant efflux pumps.

摘要

海洋生态系统是耐药细菌不断增加的储存库,因此对人类健康构成新出现的风险。在本研究中,我们报告了从红海近海地点分离出的多重耐药菌株OS1T-47的首个基因组草图序列。OS1T-47的基因组草图长度为5157150 bp,DNA G+C含量为44.83%。菌株OS1T-47拥有22个抗菌抗性基因,包括那些与多重耐药性外排泵相关的基因。
