Abstract

(tabira bitterling) comprises of 5 subspecies, all of which are endangered. In this study, the mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of the 2 subspecies, and whose mitogenomes have not been reported previously, was determined. The total lengths of and mitogenomes were 16,774 bp and 16,770 bp, respectively, and were noted as slightly AT-rich. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that these 2 subspecies of were the most closely related, out of the 5 subspecies. The deciphered mitogenomes would be useful for conservation and evolutionary studies.

田川鱊由5个亚种组成,所有亚种均濒临灭绝。在本研究中,测定了2个亚种的线粒体基因组(有丝分裂基因组),其有丝分裂基因组此前尚未见报道。这两个亚种的线粒体基因组总长度分别为16,774 bp和16,770 bp,均显示为轻度富含AT。系统发育分析表明,在这5个亚种中,这两个田川鱊亚种的亲缘关系最为密切。破译的有丝分裂基因组将有助于保护和进化研究。
