Abstract

The complete mitochondrial genome of chiltepin pepper ( var ) was sequenced. The mitogenome of the American bird pepper was 505,190 bp, with 44.4% of GC content. A total of 218 genes were fully annotated, including 190 CDS (31 known genes and 158 open reading frames), three rRNA, and 25 tRNA genes. The gene synteny and number were equal to those of var , except for the partial annotation of ATP subunit 6 and the absence of ORF172 and ORF104b. The complete mt genome sequence was deposited to the GenBank (NCBI, Accession number: MN196478).

对奇尔蒂平辣椒(变种)的完整线粒体基因组进行了测序。美国鸟椒的线粒体基因组为505,190 bp,GC含量为44.4%。总共对218个基因进行了全面注释,包括190个编码序列(31个已知基因和158个开放阅读框)、3个核糖体RNA和25个转运RNA基因。除了ATP亚基6的部分注释以及ORF172和ORF104b的缺失外,基因的同线性和数量与变种的相同。完整的线粒体基因组序列已存入GenBank(NCBI,登录号:MN196478)。
