Abstract

BACKGROUND

Single anastomosis sleeve ileal (SASI) Bypass has recently emerged as a novel surgical technique. The purpose of this study is evaluating the efficacy and feasibility of our SASI technique.

METHODS

Between April 2018 and February 2020, 83 patients underwent SASI bypass at our center. A retrospective analysis was performed. Forty-three patients (51.8%) completed follow-up at 12 months.

RESULTS

Average BMI at 12 months, change in BMI, and %EWL were 28.2 ± 4.5 kg/m, 13.5 ± 5.7 kg/m, and 85.6% respectively. From the 25 patients evaluated, diabetes remission occurred in 95.8% of them. There were 4 (4.8%) Clavien-Dindo (CD) I, 5 (6.0%) CD II, and 2 (2.4%) CD IIIb complications.

CONCLUSIONS

SASI bypass offers excellent weight loss and comorbidities resolution. As expected, higher-quality studies are needed.

背景

单吻合口袖套式回肠旁路术(SASI)最近作为一种新的手术技术出现。本研究旨在评估我们的 SASI 技术的疗效和可行性。

方法

结论
