Enterohemorrhagic (EHEC) isolates of serotype O157:H7 are serious foodborne zoonotic pathogens and prime targets for biocontrol using bacteriophages. We report on the complete genome sequences of 11 novel lytic bacteriophages, representing three viral genera, isolated from cattle in Hungary that target O157 strains.
血清型O157:H7的肠出血性大肠杆菌(EHEC)分离株是严重的食源性人畜共患病原体,也是使用噬菌体进行生物防治的主要目标。我们报告了从匈牙利牛群中分离出的11种新型裂解性噬菌体的完整基因组序列,这些噬菌体代表三个病毒属,靶向O157菌株。
