[Effect of the new x-ray ordinance on x-ray diagnosis].

A report is made on the new German X-ray regulations that come into force on 1 January 1988 and their effect on X-ray diagnostics. The main points of the new regulations are constant quality control in order to decrease exposure to radiation, an improvement in image quality, and the introduction of new dose limitations for occupational exposure.
