In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Emei black chicken () was obtained by using next generation sequencing method. The complete mitogenome sequence is 16,784 bp in length, containing 13 protein-coding genes, two ribosomal RNAs, 22 transfer RNA genes, and one control region. This work provides a valuable genetic resource of data for the evolution study and contributes to the breeding improvement program of native chicken breeds.
在本研究中，采用新一代测序方法获得了峨眉黑鸡（）的完整线粒体基因组。完整的线粒体基因组序列长度为16784 bp，包含13个蛋白质编码基因、两个核糖体RNA、22个转运RNA基因和一个控制区。这项工作为峨眉黑鸡的进化研究提供了有价值的遗传数据资源，并有助于本地鸡品种的育种改良计划。
