Abstract
Some hospitalized hip fracture patients assume responsibility for their accidents whereas others do not. Patients also differ in the control they project over their recovery and over future accidents. Patient's expressions of control may provide diagnostic clues and an avenue for social work intervention.

一些住院的髋部骨折患者认为自己应对事故负责，而另一些患者则不这样认为。患者在对康复过程以及未来事故的掌控感方面也存在差异。患者对掌控感的表达可能会提供诊断线索，并为社会工作干预提供途径。
