The mitogenome sequence of Sponge (Kadota, 1922) (Suberitida, Halichondriidae) was determined for the first time in this study. The circular genome is 20,722 bp in length, containing 14 protein coding genes (PCGs), two ribosomal RNAs (rRNAs), and 25 transfer RNAs (tRNAs). The nucleotide composition of mitogenome consists of 29.5% A, 14.2% C, 21.5% G, 34.7% T, showing a high content of A + T similar to the other Suberitid sponges. These results will be useful for inferring the phylogenetic relationships among the members of family Halichondriidae within the Suberitids.
在本研究中首次测定了海绵(Kadota,1922)(软海绵目,Halichondriidae科)的线粒体基因组序列。该环状基因组长度为20,722 bp,包含14个蛋白质编码基因(PCG)、两个核糖体RNA(rRNA)和25个转运RNA(tRNA)。线粒体基因组的核苷酸组成为29.5%的A、14.2%的C、21.5%的G、34.7%的T,显示出与其他软海绵目海绵相似的高A+T含量。这些结果将有助于推断软海绵目内Halichondriidae科成员之间的系统发育关系。
