Abstract

Chinese Nutmeg Tree () is a species of conifer in Taxaceae, which has a wide range in eastern and south-eastern China. , endemic to eastern and south-eastern China, is a large tree, which own important economic value. Here, we report the complete chloroplast (cp) genome sequence and the cp genomic features of . The genome was 136,949 bp long with 117 genes comprising of 82 protein-coding genes, 31 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis suggested that species formed a monophyletic clade within the Taxaceae family, and is at the base of the tree and and are sister groups of the inner clade.

中国榧树是红豆杉科的一种针叶树,在中国东部和东南部广泛分布。它是中国东部和东南部特有的大树,具有重要的经济价值。在此,我们报道了中国榧树完整的叶绿体(cp)基因组序列及其cp基因组特征。该基因组长度为136,949 bp,包含117个基因,其中包括82个蛋白质编码基因、31个tRNA基因和4个rRNA基因。系统发育分析表明,中国榧树物种在红豆杉科内形成一个单系类群,中国榧树位于树的基部,而其他两种与内部类群是姐妹群。
