Abstract

Hulless barley ( L. var. ) is one of the staple foods for Tibetans and an important livestock feed in the Tibetan Plateau. We report the complete mitochondrial genome of barely. The complete mitochondrial genome size is 416,675 bp. Hulless barely mitochondrial genome encode 34 protein-coding genes, 19 tRNA genes and three rRNA genes. The mitochondrial genome has 50 forward and palindrome repeats totally. Nucleotide sequence of coding region takes over 13.60%, GC content is 44.33%. The maximum-likelihood (ML) phylogenetic tree based on 11 protein-coding genes common to seven plant mitochondrial genomes using as out-group support that hulless barely is close to species.

青稞(L. var.)是藏族的主食之一,也是青藏高原重要的牲畜饲料。我们报道了青稞完整的线粒体基因组。完整的线粒体基因组大小为416,675 bp。青稞线粒体基因组编码34个蛋白质编码基因、19个tRNA基因和3个rRNA基因。线粒体基因组共有50个正向和回文重复序列。编码区核苷酸序列占比超过13.60%,GC含量为44.33%。基于七个植物线粒体基因组共有的11个蛋白质编码基因构建的最大似然(ML)系统发育树,以 作为外类群,支持青稞与 物种相近。
