Abstract

The two types of mitochondrial genomes of Dapulian pig has been sequenced and annotated completely. The entire genome is 16,610 bp in length with an A + T content of 60.6% (GenBank accession No. MG009445, MG009446). This mitochondrial genome consisted of 13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA subunits and 22 transfer RNAs, and 1 D-loop control regions. A phylogenetic tree with the near-complete mitochondrial genome sequences of two types of Dapulian pigs together with 17 other Chinese pig breeds was constructed. The results can be subsequently used to provide information for pig phylogenetic and insights into the evolution of genomes. The mitochondrial genome would play an important role in population genetics and phylogenetic analysis of .

大蒲莲猪的两种线粒体基因组已被完全测序和注释。整个基因组长度为16,610 bp,A+T含量为60.6%(GenBank登录号:MG009445、MG009446)。该线粒体基因组由13个蛋白质编码基因、2个核糖体RNA亚基、22个转运RNA和1个D环控制区组成。构建了包含两种大蒲莲猪的近完整线粒体基因组序列以及其他17个中国猪种的系统发育树。这些结果随后可用于为猪的系统发育提供信息,并深入了解基因组的进化。线粒体基因组将在群体遗传学和系统发育分析中发挥重要作用。
