In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Cassin's auklet, was determined using Illumina sequencing. The complete mitochondrial genome of was 16,524 bp in length and encoded 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes, and 2 ribosomal RNA genes. The overall nucleotide composition is: 30.8% A, 24.4% T, 30.6% C, and 14.2% G, with a total G + C content of 44.8%. By phylogenetic analysis using ML method, clustered with two species that belong to Alcidae.
在本研究中,使用Illumina测序确定了卡辛小海雀的完整线粒体基因组。其完整线粒体基因组长度为16,524 bp,编码13个蛋白质编码基因、22个转运RNA(tRNA)基因和2个核糖体RNA基因。总体核苷酸组成为:A占30.8%,T占24.4%,C占30.6%,G占14.2%,G + C总含量为44.8%。通过使用最大似然法(ML)进行系统发育分析,卡辛小海雀与属于海雀科的另外两个物种聚类在一起。
