Leishmaniasis is a neglected tropical disease caused by species of with a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations, such as cutaneous, visceral, and mucocutaneous presentations. Many drugs are used for its treatment, and a current effective one is a pentavalent antimonial, especially in developing countries. In this review, we discuss recent proposed therapies as well as their side effects.
利什曼病是一种被忽视的热带疾病，由多种利什曼原虫引起，具有广泛的临床表现，如皮肤型、内脏型和黏膜皮肤型。许多药物用于其治疗，目前一种有效的药物是五价锑剂，在发展中国家尤其如此。在本综述中，我们讨论了最近提出的治疗方法及其副作用。
