Breast cancer occurs at an older age in men than in women, usually presenting as a painless, central breast lump. Although male breast cancer is 100 times less common than female breast cancer, the prognosis for men is worse than that for women, probably because of delay in diagnosis. Men with breast cancer have a high prevalence of metastatic disease at the time of diagnosis.
男性乳腺癌的发病年龄比女性大，通常表现为无痛性的乳腺中央肿块。虽然男性乳腺癌的发病率比女性乳腺癌低100倍，但男性的预后比女性差，这可能是由于诊断延迟所致。男性乳腺癌患者在诊断时转移性疾病的患病率较高。
