Abstract

is the most diversified and one of the most important genera from an epidemiological perspective. Given the difficulty in identifying some species of the genus, morphological, histological, and morphometric studies were performed to provide new characters that make it possible to differentiate , , and , triatomines that overlap geographically and have vector potential. Through the external female genitalia, as well as morphology, morphometry, and histology of eggshells, it was possible to discriminate the four species. In addition, this study reinforces the taxonomic validity of and provides new data for discussion on systematic issues of and .

摘要

从流行病学角度来看,是最多样化且最重要的属之一。鉴于鉴定该属某些物种存在困难,因此进行了形态学、组织学和形态测量学研究,以提供新的特征,从而能够区分、、和这四种地理分布重叠且具有病媒潜力的锥蝽。通过雌性外生殖器以及卵壳的形态学、形态测量学和组织学,能够区分这四个物种。此外,本研究强化了的分类学有效性,并为有关和系统问题的讨论提供了新的数据。
