A retrospective analysis of 487 cases of deaths after operations for acute cholecystitis has revealed the dependence of lethal outcomes on two factors: degree of destructive alterations in the gallbladder and concomitant complications, 60% of them being pyo-septic processes. Conservative therapy during 2-3 days before operation failed to promote favourable outcomes. An alternative is urgent operation within 24 h after diagnosing acute cholecystitis.
对487例急性胆囊炎手术后死亡病例的回顾性分析表明，致命结果取决于两个因素：胆囊的破坏程度和并发的并发症，其中60%为化脓性感染过程。术前2 - 3天的保守治疗未能带来良好的结果。另一种选择是在诊断急性胆囊炎后24小时内进行紧急手术。
