Abstract

Regenerative medicine using human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) is a promising approach to treat heart failure. However, a large number of cells are required to achieve the desired therapeutic effect. The stirring-type suspension culture method allows a large-scale production of hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes (more than 1 × 10 cells/100 mL), leading to a stable cell supply. Here, we describe a method to scale-up hiPSC-derived cardiomyocyte production with a high differentiation efficiency.

利用人诱导多能干细胞(hiPSC)的再生医学是治疗心力衰竭的一种很有前途的方法。然而,需要大量的细胞才能达到预期的治疗效果。搅拌式悬浮培养方法可大规模生产 hiPSC 衍生的心肌细胞(超过 1×10 个细胞/100mL),从而实现稳定的细胞供应。在此,我们描述了一种具有高分化效率的 hiPSC 衍生的心肌细胞放大生产方法。
