An analytical method was validated and developed to determine the levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including 1,3-butadiene, isoprene, acrylonitrile, benzene, toluene, and styrene from smoking cessation aids using by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Seventeen non-ignitable cigarette type of smoking cessation aids, liquid-phase of smoking cessation aids, gas-phase of smoking cessation aids, and ignitable cigarette type of smoking cessation aids were analyzed for levels of six VOCs. The proposed method for six VOCs was validated in satisfactory linearity (R > 0.99), recovery (80.38-119.14%). limit of detection (LOD) (0.05-0.19 μg/ml), limit of quantification (LOQ) (0.07-0.18 μg/ml), accuracy (80.47-117.28%), and precision (0.15-7.22%). The mean concentrations of six VOCs were generated in 1,3-butadiene (6.18 μg/cigarette), isoprene (0.34 μg/cigarette), acrylonitrile (0.003 μg/cigarette), benzene (ND = not detected, the lower limit of detection), toluene (0.27 μg/cigarette), styrene (0.13 μg/cigarette). Results showed low levels of VOCs from smoking cessation aid except from liquid-phase of smoking cessation aids. These results are necessary to investigate unintentional hazardous substances generated from smoking cessation aids, and develop accurate analytical method in order to obtain scientific basis for safety management.
建立了一种采用气相色谱-质谱联用(GC-MS)分析戒烟辅助器具中挥发性有机化合物(VOCs)水平的分析方法,包括 1,3-丁二烯、异戊二烯、丙烯腈、苯、甲苯和苯乙烯。对 17 种不可燃香烟型戒烟辅助器具、液相戒烟辅助器具、气相戒烟辅助器具和可燃香烟型戒烟辅助器具中的六种 VOCs 水平进行了分析。所提出的六种 VOCs 方法具有令人满意的线性(R>0.99)、回收率(80.38-119.14%)、检测限(LOD)(0.05-0.19μg/ml)、定量限(LOQ)(0.07-0.18μg/ml)、准确度(80.47-117.28%)和精密度(0.15-7.22%)。六种 VOCs 的平均浓度分别为:1,3-丁二烯(6.18μg/支)、异戊二烯(0.34μg/支)、丙烯腈(0.003μg/支)、苯(ND=未检出,检测限下限)、甲苯(0.27μg/支)和苯乙烯(0.13μg/支)。结果表明,除液相戒烟辅助器具外,戒烟辅助器具中的 VOCs 含量较低。这些结果对于研究戒烟辅助器具中产生的无意危险物质以及开发准确的分析方法以获得安全管理的科学依据是必要的。
