This study aims to formulate a new anti-caries dental gel with high antimicrobial activity.
essential oil was extracted using hydro-distillation, ethanol extraction, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, and high-performance liquid chromatography methods. Antimicrobial activity of the produced gels with oregano oil and extract was determined through the disco-diffusion method. The effectiveness of essential oil was tested for biofilm using colorimetric analysis.

本研究旨在配制一种具有高抗菌活性的新型抗龋牙科凝胶。
采用水蒸馏、乙醇萃取、气相色谱/质谱联用和高效液相色谱法提取精油。通过纸片扩散法测定所制备的含牛至油和提取物的凝胶的抗菌活性。使用比色分析法测试精油对生物膜的有效性。
与未暴露的对照细菌相比,精油对生物膜生长的抑制率达98%。使用所获得的牛至精油和提取物配制了5个抗龋凝胶样品(ACDG1、ACDG2、ACDG3、ACDG4、ACDG5)。根据微生物学研究结果,ACDG1和ACDG3凝胶样品对变形链球菌和远缘链球菌革兰氏阳性菌株以及白色念珠菌酵母真菌表现出高抗菌活性,对牙龈卟啉单胞菌和具核梭杆菌革兰氏阴性菌株表现出中等抗菌活性。
