Abstract

Two new prenylated coumarins, 3'-hydroxytoddanone (), and isotoddalolactone (), along with four known analogues (-) were isolated from the roots of . Their chemical structures were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic interpretation and HR-ESI-MS analysis. The absolute configuration of compound was determined by comparing experimental ECD spectrum with that calculated by the time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) method. Compounds were isolated from the genus for the first time. The two new compounds were tested for antiproliferative activities on the HL-60, K562 and THP-1 cell lines. Compounds and exhibited moderate cell growth inhibitory activities against human leukemic HL-60 cell lines, with IC values of 32.64 and 33.15 µM, respectively.
