Twenty-two strains were isolated from anthracnose symptoms or leaf spots on leaves of various wild Poaceae and Cyperaceae plants collected in three provinces of Iran and tentatively identified as belonging to the Graminicola species complex based on morphology. All strains were studied via a polyphasic approach combining colony characteristics, morphology and phylogeny inferred from multi-locus sequences, including the nuc rDNA ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 (ITS), partial sequences of the β-tubulin (), actin (), manganese superoxide dismutase 2 (), DNA lyase 2 () genes, a 200-bp intron of the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (), and the intergenic spacer between the gene and the idiomorph (). Six species were distinguished, including three new species, namely , and , and three previously described species, and . Comprehensive morphological descriptions and illustrations are provided for all species. Furthermore, this study provided new insights into the distribution and host range of known species.
从伊朗三省采集的各种野生禾本科和莎草科植物叶片上的炭疽病症状或叶斑中分离出22个菌株,根据形态学初步鉴定为属于Graminicola物种复合体。所有菌株均通过多相方法进行研究,该方法结合了菌落特征、形态学以及从多基因座序列推断的系统发育,包括核rDNA ITS1-5.8S-ITS2(ITS)、β-微管蛋白()、肌动蛋白()、锰超氧化物歧化酶2()、DNA裂解酶2()基因的部分序列、甘油醛-3-磷酸脱氢酶()的一个200 bp内含子以及基因与 特异性体之间的基因间隔区()。区分出了6个物种,包括3个新物种,即 、 和 ,以及3个先前描述的物种, 和 。提供了所有物种的全面形态学描述和插图。此外,本研究为已知物种的分布和寄主范围提供了新的见解。
