Abstract

This study aimed to elucidate the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of (Perciforms: Polynemidae). The circular mitogenome was 16,556 bp in size, with the base composition: A - 28.17%, T - 26.99%, C - 28.72%, and G - 16.12%. It had the typical vertebrate mitochondrial gene arrangement and was made up of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, and one non-coding control region. Phylogenetic analysis using maximum-likelihood approved that belonged to the family Polynemidae and had close relationship to . The present data will contribute to future phylogenetic studies on members of family Polynemidae and conservation strategies for .

本研究旨在阐明(鲈形目:多鳍鱼科)的完整线粒体基因组(线粒体基因组)。环状线粒体基因组大小为16,556 bp,碱基组成为:A - 28.17%,T - 26.99%,C - 28.72%,G - 16.12%。它具有典型的脊椎动物线粒体基因排列,由13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA基因、两个核糖体RNA基因和一个非编码控制区组成。使用最大似然法的系统发育分析证实属于多鳍鱼科,并且与有密切关系。目前的数据将有助于未来对多鳍鱼科成员的系统发育研究以及的保护策略。
