Abstract

is part of the human gastrointestinal microbiota. It is also a well-known cause of community and nosocomial infections, involving mainly the lung and urinary tract. An invasive syndrome with liver abscess due to a new hypervirulent strain of was recently described. Several cases have been reported, mainly in Asia. Here, we show a case of a patient with an extrahepatic involvement affecting the lung and prostate.
