Abstract

The spinel structure ZnCoTiO single crystals with 5 mm diameter and 30 mm length were successfully grown by an optical floating zone method. The as-grown crystals were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Some Zn ions at tetrahedral and octahedral sites should be replaced by doped transition metal Co ions. The temperature-dependent Raman spectra of spinel ZnCoTiO crystals were also described. The optical phonon behaviors of ZnCoTiO are stable within the temperature range. The magnetic properties of ZnCoTiO were investigated by using Physical Property Measurement System.

摘要

通过光学浮区法成功生长出了直径为5毫米、长度为30毫米的尖晶石结构ZnCoTiO单晶。采用X射线衍射(XRD)、拉曼光谱和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)对生长出的晶体进行了表征。四面体和八面体位置的一些锌离子应由掺杂的过渡金属钴离子取代。还描述了尖晶石ZnCoTiO晶体的温度相关拉曼光谱。ZnCoTiO的光学声子行为在该温度范围内是稳定的。使用物理性能测量系统研究了ZnCoTiO的磁性。
