Abstract

In this work, a multifunctional microporous metal-organic framework (MOF), [Cd(ABTC)(HO)(DMA)]·4DMA (JLNU-4; JLNU = Jilin Normal University; HABTC = 3,3',5,5'-azobenzenetetracarboxylic acid), has been synthesized based on the ligand HABTC under solvothermal conditions. JLNU-4 shows excellent uptake of iodine both in solution and in the vapor phase, owing to the existence of a microporous structure in JLNU-4. The adsorption kinetics during the process of iodine adsorption were analyzed a series of qualitative and quantitative analyses, such as the Langmuir and Freündlich adsorption isotherms. In addition, according to UV/vis spectroscopy analysis and the colour variance of JLNU-4, the relatively small sized dye methylene blue (MB) could be efficiently adsorbed by JLNU-4, through size-exclusion effects. Particularly, JLNU-4 can serve as a column-chromatographic filler for the separation of dye molecules. Therefore, JLNU-4 is a multifunctional microporous MOF for iodine adsorption and column-chromatographic dye separation.

在本工作中,基于配体3,3',5,5'-偶氮苯四羧酸(HABTC)在溶剂热条件下合成了一种多功能微孔金属有机框架材料(MOF),即[Cd(ABTC)(H₂O)(DMA)]·4DMA(JLNU-4;JLNU = 吉林师范大学;HABTC = 3,3',5,5'-偶氮苯四羧酸)。由于JLNU-4中存在微孔结构,其在溶液和气相中均表现出对碘的优异吸附性能。通过一系列定性和定量分析,如朗缪尔(Langmuir)和弗伦德利希(Freündlich)吸附等温线,对碘吸附过程中的吸附动力学进行了分析。此外,根据紫外/可见光谱分析以及JLNU-4的颜色变化,相对较小尺寸的染料亚甲基蓝(MB)可通过尺寸排阻效应被JLNU-4有效吸附。特别地,JLNU-4可作为柱色谱填料用于染料分子的分离。因此,JLNU-4是一种用于碘吸附和柱色谱染料分离的多功能微孔MOF。
