[A physician in search of glory: Joseph Clément Tissot (1747-1826)].

J.C. Tissot is one of the minor figures of the history of Medicine. Still, because of his writings on therapeutic exercises he should be better known. A part from that, he is also a human figure. Surgeon in Napoleon's Army, he goes through many misadventures, and finally dies peacefully dreaming of the past glory.
