BACKGROUND
Treatment of closed tibial shaft fractures in the 3 trimester of pregnancy is controversial. Since there are few case reports published in literature, there is no consensus on the appropriate management of these fractures. This case report proposes intramedullary nailing throught the suprapatellar approach for the treatment of tibial shaft fracture in pregnant women, never described before in literature.
CASE PRESENTATION
We report 2 cases of a tibial diaphyseal fracture treated by intramedullary nailing in women at the 3 trimester of pregnancy.
CONCLUSION
Surgical treatment of tibial shaft fracture of pregnant women in the 3 trimester of pregnancy with intramedullary nailing seems to be safe. The use of the specific suprapatellar approach helps in the intra-operative management of the pregnant patients.
背景
妊娠晚期胫骨骨干骨折的治疗存在争议。由于文献中发表的病例报告较少，因此对于这些骨折的适当处理尚无共识。本病例报告提出经髌上入路髓内钉治疗孕妇胫骨骨干骨折，这在文献中从未有过描述。
病例介绍
我们报告了 2 例妊娠晚期妇女胫骨骨干骨折的病例，采用髓内钉治疗。
结论
妊娠晚期孕妇胫骨骨干骨折的髓内钉手术治疗似乎是安全的。使用特定的髌上入路有助于孕妇的术中管理。
